Last night, defensive tackle Warren Sapp was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and like everything Sapp does, it was a bit unique.

Also unique will be the bust of Sapp, which will be the first to feature cornrows, this according to Frank Schwab of Shutdown Corner:

"The Tampa Bay Times had some pictures previewing Sapp’s Pro Football Hall of Fame bust, and Sapp’s has an interesting twist. A few of them, actually.Sapp’s bust in Canton, which will be officially unveiled during Saturday night’s induction ceremony, will be the first to have braided hair according to the Tampa Bay Times. There are more pictures from the Tampa Bay Times of the bust at this link.Sapp could have been bald on his bust. He had that look for most of his years in Tampa Bay, actually, and had a shaved head for his biggest moment, when the Buccaneers won a Super Bowl. He goes with a shaved head these days too. But Sapp will be the first of many to have braids and cornrows on his bust. It’s a sign of changing styles."
