Brandon Moore retires one day after signing with Dallas Cowboys
By Josh Sanchez
Brandon Moore’s career with the Dallas Cowboys did not last long at all. Less than 24 hours after signing with the team, Moore has decided to retire rather than report to camp. Dallas was hoping to use Moore as extra depth along the offensive line and he had a real chance to start this season, but he slept on the decision and eventually called the Cowboys to inform them that he has decided to stay with his family and retire.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news:
It would be easy to criticize Moore for changing his mind so quickly on the team, but at the same time you have to respect a man that wants to stay with his family and not play just to collect a paycheck. In the end, you shouldn’t be playing if your head and heart is no longer in the game and it took Moore some time to make that decision.
