One of the most trusted sources in the NFL, Jay Glazer, believes that Michael Vick is a perfect fit for new head coach Chip Kelly’s offense for the Philadelphia Eagles. So much, that he finds little doubt that veteran will be the starter for the season opener.

Despite Kelly’s best efforts to keep things silent, similar to what he did with his quarterback controversy last season with the Oregon Ducks. Even Rotoworld announced the news and had a write-up.

"Although Chip Kelly has done a masterful job of convincing local media Nick Foles is a legitimate contender for the starting job, the idea has always been absurd on paper. Unsurprisingly, beat writers have started pegging Vick as the favorite after observing practice. Foles simply doesn’t possess the athleticism necessary to pilot Kelly’s offense. We’d be shocked if Vick — and his $3.5 million signing bonus — aren’t under center come Week 1."

The only question that does remain is what the team does if Vick goes down, considering the offense has been completely changed and wouldn’t favor Foles whatsoever. Should the Eagles go after a different backup quarterback?
