Kansas City Chiefs vs. New Orleans Saints

Rookies Debuting

Safety Kenny Vaccaro (Saints, #14-overall)

Offensive Tackle Eric Fisher (Chiefs, #1-overall pick)

No. 1 overall pick Eric Fisher will also be interesting to watch as he continues the transition from left tackle at Central Michigan to the opposite side in the pros. He’ll get a good first text going against the Saints and defensive coordinator Rex Ryan, who will undoubtedly look to test the rookie with a variety of blitz packages.

Vaccaro will likely be a part of those packages, as the hard-hitter from Texas can be a terror off the edge, or to any receiver willing to come across the middle into his territory. He was widely-regarded as the best safety prospect this year, and he’ll be a welcome addition to a Saints defense that ranked among the worst in NFL history last year.

Other Rookies to Watch

Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati (Chiefs)

Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas (Chiefs)

Terron Armstead, OT, Arkansas–Pine Bluff (Saints)
