After a tumultuous rookie season for Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon, the second-year man out of Oklahoma State is already off to a bad start this year, and now he’s drawing the ire of both his coaches and fellow teammates.

If you recall, Blackmon is already suspended for the first four games of the regular season for

Blackmon had to be escorted off the field during Friday night’s preseason opener against the Miami Dolphins after a verbal confrontation with Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll on the sideline. What’s even worse is he wasn’t even active for the game due to groin surgery. He was in street clothes out on the field arguing with players who were playing.

After the game, he was called to Jags Head Coach Gus Bradley’s office. What ensued was an argument with Bradley, and then he got into it with teammate Jason Babin when Babin told Blackmon to “pipe down”.

Bradley disputes this report, as he told reporters today that he had both Blackmon and Babin in his office following the game and was pleased with the meeting. The spat was “a lot smaller than what I initially thought,” Bradley said.

Even if that’s true, this still isn’t a good look for a player who has such high expectations as the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
