Indianapolis Colts should expect Dwayne Allen back ‘very soon’
By Josh Sanchez
Indianapolis Colts sophomore tight end Dwayne Allen will be held out of tonight’s preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills with a foot injury, but he plans on being active soon and working towards a return to the field. All signs point towards Allen receiving positive news and being healthy for the start of the season.
Allen announced on his Twitter account that he plans to be back ‘very soon’:
Whether or not Allen will be healthy enough for the preseason remains to be seen, but the hopes are that he could take the field for the team’s second preseason game of the season.
If he doesn’t, there is no reason to be concerned for the Colts fans.
Allen will be a full go for the start of the regular season, which will hurt Coby Fleener’s fantasy stock but add another target for Andrew Luck in his second year.
