There is nothing more classic than the hidden ball trick in baseball. Whether you are out with your friends trying to pull off the stunt or watching Major League players attempting to pull a fast one, it never gets old when someone actually falls for the trick. Luckily for all of us, Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Juan Uribe fell victim to the hidden ball trick on Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Rays.

It all started when A.J. Ellis hit a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded in the fourth inning.

James Loney cut off the throw to home for the Rays and tossed it quickly to shortstop Yunel Escobar. Once Tampa Bay realized that Uribe was not paying attention to anything that was going on, Escobar floated the ball over to third baseman Evan Longoria, who was standing behind Uribe.

With Uribe still being oblivious to the action around him, Longoria patiently waited for the time to strike.

As soon as Uribe took his foot off the bag, Longoria placed the tag and scored the out. It was a beautifully executed play by the Rays that we can all appreciate.
