Madden NFL 25 player ratings: Top running backs

With the release of Madden NFL 25 coming later this month, video game fans are eager to get their eyes on the player ratings for the latest installment of the popular EA Sports football franchise. Luckily for those who can’t get enough of the player rating discussions, an early look at the ratings have been released.

Next up is the top running backs in the game.

Here are the top quarterbacks in Madden NFL 25via NFL.com:

1. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings — 99 overall
2. Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks — 96 overall
3. Arian Foster, Houston Texans — 95 overall
4. Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens — 94 overall
5. Jamaal Charles, Kansas City Chiefs — 94 overall

It would have been a surprise to see anyone other than Adrian Peterson top the running back rankings, so the top five list seems very reasonable and there are very few omissions that make you raise your eyebrow.

However, if you were going to pick a player that was deserving of a top five ranking that was not given the honor by EA Sports, Buffal Bills rusher C.J. Spiller would be one of the first players to come to mind. Outside of Spiller, the next tier of running backs should include LeSean McCoy, Doug Martin, Matt Forte and Chris Johnson.
