Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright has been a standout for the team throughout training camp and he looked like a player that could be poised for a breakout year, but an unfortunate injury during Tennessee’s second preseason game of the year may have put any breakout performance in jeopardy.

During their match up against the Cincinnati Bengals, Wright went down with a leg injury that forced him to limp off the field and ultimately be taken to the locker room.

From Paul Luharsky of ESPN’s AFC South blog:

Players can often tell how seriously they are hurt and you can tell if there is cause for concern by the way that they react to the injury.

For the Titans, there should be some worry after Wright’s obvious frustration.

Hopefully he will be able to be a full go for the start of the regular season, but we will not know for sure until an official injury update is given.
