Denver Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe may be ready to return to the field a lot sooner than anyone could have imagined after watching him lay on the ground motionless after a play vs. the Seattle Seahawks last night. After the play was over and Wolfe was unresponsive on the field, trainers and doctors rushed out to treat him, then placed him on a stretcher and carried off the field in an ambulance. The CenturyLink Field crowd gave him a standing ovation as he left the field.
A few hours ago, Wolfe took to Twitter to let everyone know he was doing better and believes he’ll be back on the football filed soon:
Thanks for the prayers everyone, ill be okay and will be back on the field soon #broncosup
