Standing on an NFL sideline can be a dangerous place, even when a game isn’t being played. That’s something NFL on Fox reporter Pam Oliver is well aware of this evening after she was drilled by a wayward pass from Indianapolis Colts backup quarterback Chandler Harnish during Sunday night’s game between the Colts and New York Giants.

Oliver was minding her own business, chatting with an unsuspecting fellow during pre-game warmups when Harnish attempted to throw a sideline pass (that’s my guess – his accuracy can’t be that bad, can it?) to an unnamed, those visible Colts wide receiver in the background.

Either the receiver knew he was going to run over Oliver and her friend and let up or Harnish’s pass got a little extra air under it. Either way, the ball sailed right into the head of Oliver, sending her to the ground.

But being the champ she is, Oliver shook it off, even having a chuckle about the event with the guys in the booth.

And  yes, since you’re wondering, Harnish did apologize and ran over to give Oliver a hug.
