Two Cleveland Browns wide receivers have been driving so fast, the Browns felt like the had to issue a statement regarding their actions.

“We’re aware of the situation involving the players and their unacceptable driving records,” the statement said. “We take matters such as this very seriously. We’ve spoken to both individuals, and will address the issue with the entire team.”

Gordon was stopped for driving 98 MPH in a 60 MPH zone.

Last week, Little was stopped for going 81 MPH in a 60 MPH zone.  21 MPH over the speed limit is certainly speeding, but many drive that fast.

However, this is nothing compared to what Little was stopped for back in April. Little admitted to driving 127 MPH down the Jennings Freeway at Spring Road. According to WOIO Channel 9 Action News, “Cleveland police found he hit a guardrail, knocked down a light pole and left 40 yards of brake tracks.” WOIO also reported Little had a passenger that left the scene because they were “scared.”

Little, entering his third season out of North Carolina, has 114 catches for 1,356 yards and six touchdowns in his first two seasons.

Gordon, who was selected in the 2012 supplemental draft out of Baylor, had 50 receptions for 805 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season.
