Aaron Hernandez formally indicted for murder

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been formally indicted on murder charges according to ABC News and the Boston Globe. Later today Hernandez will be arraigned according to ABC.

The trial was delayed originally but finally his probable cause hearing came. The hearing was to determine whether or not there was probable cause to charge Hernandez with first-degree murder.

The evidence and rumors we’ve heard come out over the past couple of months have been incredibly damning for the Patriots former star. It includes cell phone calls, text messages, video from home surveillance holding the weapon.

In the court of public opinion Hernandez is already guilty but he still has a trial ahead of him.

[UPDATE]: 12:59 PM EST– Ernest Wallace has also been indicted by a grand jury on a accessory to 1st degree murder. Carlos Ortiz however has not been indicted yet.
