A.J. Green will likely play limited snaps on Saturday vs. Dallas Cowboys

The much anticipated preseason debut of Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro receiver A.J. Green will take place Saturday night in Dallas vs. the Cowboys. Green went down with a knee injury on the first day of training camp, and after watching their most important player’s season nearly end before it even began, they’re not taking any chances heading into this weekend.
The plan is to get him a handful of snaps vs. the Cowboys, and then get him on the sideline and be done for the night. While this hasn’t necessarily been the most ideal way for the Bengals to try and improve their offense this season, it has given quarterback Andy Dalton a chance to work with his other talented receivers:
"“There hasn’t been a whole lot of new learning going on so far,” Dalton said. “Everybody basically knows what we’re doing. That’s going to make us better going into the season.”"
Against Tennessee last week, Dalton went 9/14 for 115 yards and a touchdown, and looked improved from last year as he looks to lead the Bengals past the first-round of the playoffs in 2013.
