I’m going to guess this was done on purpose, though, I’m going to pretend the stoner looking guy simply didn’t put two and two together.

During a game earlier this week between the Atlanta Braves and New York Mets, a happy (read: high) looking Metropolitan fan decided to make a few creative signs and bring them to the ballpark with him. One such sign looked a bit out of place though when compared to the others.

The sign was in honor of Mets first rookie baseman Josh Satin, which is pronounced Sat-in.

So what was so odd about the sign? Well, the message. It read “Hail Satin” which uh, well, yeah.

The smiley face leads me to believe he was well aware of what he was doing, but I’m just going to assume he was dense and unaware – it makes it far more funny.

Satin, who’s been scorching hot as of late didn’t disappoint the fan as he went 2-4 on the day, including a home run.

It was a good thing too, considering how hard that fan worked on his ‘Hail Satin’ sign.
