News just broke about the step-grandfather of Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller, who was identified as a shooter in a murder suicide.

According to NESN.com, Hubert Allen, Jr shot four men whose names happen to be David Griffis, Marvin Pritchett, Rolando Gonzalez and Lewis Mabrey, Jr.

The first shooting victim was David Griffis of Pritchett Trucking, Allen’s former place of work. He later went to visit the company owner’s farm where he shot and killed both Marvin Pritchett and his farmhand Rolando Gonzalez. Allen also shot Lewis Mabrey, Jr.

Both Mabrey, Jr. and David Griffis are in critical condition. The shooting supposedly happened this morning in North Florida.

According to police, Hubert Allen, Jr. later returned to his house and took his life to end Saturday mornings shooting spree. There is currently no motive on why Mr. Allen did what he did.

C.J. Spiller and the Buffalo Bills are currently in a pre-season game against the Washington Redskins. He was removed from the game due to a knee injury as reported by fellow writer Bryan Rose.

It’s safe to say that today hasn’t been a great day for C.J. Spiller or his family.

Thoughts and prayers are sent out to the families of the victims.
