Breakups are hard, especially if you’re in the public eye. That’s something former Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad Johnson knows all too well after his incredibly public (and somewhat dangerous) breakup with model and reality television star Evelyn Lozada.

It’s also apparently something one of Johnson’s friends is currently going through as he oddly documented the breakup through his Twitter account.

Most interesting though was not how his friend received a voice mail with a breakup song or how the girlfriend blocked the said dude’s phone number, but how Johnson himself got over his breakup with Lozada.

Did he fall into depression and start drinking? Do drugs? Spending money wildly? Chase women?

None of the above – he got over his breakup by playing FIFA, the highly popular soccer video game from Electronic Arts.

Per Johnson himself:

"I hope this fool knows how to play FIFA once he gets to my house, that shit worked for me it’ll work for him. Can’t believe she did that."

If FIFA helps you get over a woman, what does Madden do for your self esteem?!
