Injuries have been the norm for Danny Amendola’s career and were part of the risk involved when the Patriots decided to replace Wes Welker with Amendola. The Patriots are struggling to find reliable targets for Tom Brady lately.
They need Amendola healthy and the only official word was that Amendola’s injury “wasn’t heat related.” If healthy, Amendola could have a breakout year in Wes Welker’s place.
