Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall is a bit of a diva. No, he’s not on the Randy Moss or Terrell Owens level, but he might be just a tier below, so news that Marshall is mad at the Chicago Bears for not taking his hip injury seriously isn’t exactly shocking.

Marshall, who somewhat recently underwent a third hip operation this offseason took a few ‘scheduled’ days off, which was announced this morning by the team, citing ‘personal reasons’.

Now according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, those days off could be from Marshall’s irritation with the Bears:

"WR Brandon Marshall is upset Bears have not taken his concerns about his hip injury seriously."

Coach Marc Trestman said the days off were planned well in advance, but given the issues between Marshall and the team, that seems questionable at best.

More likely it’s Marshall being his normal volatile self, causing drama and friction where it’s not needed.

There’s no word on when Marshall will return, be it before or after his ‘scheduled’ days off. Either way, it appears all is not peachy in the Windy City.
