Oakland Raiders fans may not have too much to be excited about this season, but there was one moment that will have them standing on their feet prior to the preseason finale against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Raiders were out celebrating running back Darren McFadden’s 26th birthday when a challenge was issued to jump over a BMW. If you were successful, $200 dollars went right to your pocket.

Taiwan Jones, who switched from running back to cornerback, showed off his elite athleticism by answering the call and successfully making the jump.

Of course, in today’s world of social media, there was someone around to film the jump. Raiders cornerback Tyvon Branch recorded Jones’ jump over the Bimmer and went on to post the result on his Instagram account.

Here is the video of Jones’ impressive jump:

Now that is athleticism, folks.

While it is cool to see Jones jumping over a car, players should be making smarter decisions just before the start of the season.

Jones seemed confident that he could make the jump, but one inch could have been the difference between a mere $200 and an injury that could have kept him out of action for weeks. That would have been a tough one to explain to the coaches.
