The Denver Broncos kept five running backs on their final roster after training camp last year, and perhaps they will do it again after an undrafted rookie had multiple tweets on Friday night.

C.J. Anderson from California tweeted that he was “a bronco” and later tweeted to Jacob Hester, “get 2 work man keep helping and being that great vet.”

According to Jeff Legwold of ESPN, if both Anderson and Hester stick with the team, that would mean that the Broncos have kept “at least one undrafted rookie” in 10 seasons and five total running backs would be on the Broncos’ final roster, the same amount as last season.

"…[Anderson] also gives the Broncos’ offense some short-yardage power, something they team has not always shown with the top three backs -– Ronnie Hillman, Montee Ball andKnowshon Moreno. If the Broncos also keep Jacob Hester, and he is the only back who has lined up at fullback for the team, that makes five running backs on the depth chart, the same total the Broncos kept last season when they made the cut to 53."
