The Arizona Cardinals added depth to the offensive line Sunday when they picked up offensive tackle Bradley Sowell, formerly of the Indianapolis Colts, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan.

Sowell a  6-foot-7, 315-pounder and only 24 years of age, has one year of NFL experience under his belt. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in April of 2012, before being waived in September later that year, when the Colts picked him up and he played in ten games last year. Having ties with coach Bruce Arians system makes this a good pick up in my opinion.

The experience is a plus and the depth as well after making room cutting the veteran Chilo Richal, whom I thought was making strides in camp with the first and second team at times. But the team see’s needing a Left Tackle over having a good guard was needed, and so far the new management team has done a good job evaluating talent to bring to the team. I am sure the fans are happy to hear that another left tackle is in the mix . Let’s see if this will boost the play of Levi Brown in the process.
