How many years does the big three in Miami have left?

When Chris Bosh and LeBron James joined Dwayne Wade in Miami, they made a statement, whether serious or not, about how many championships they would win together. Welp, after three years, they have two rings. Now bad. But, how many more will they get?

When they first got together, I figured they had a five year window of dominance together. I was looking at Wade and those knees, bro. Lately, Chris Bosh has been rather quiet and not as dominant as the other two of the big three. And rumors about him being traded keep getting louder and louder.

So, with Wade’s knees and Bosh’s lack of star power, how long before this group calls it a day? I think I’l stand by my five year remark. By the end of next season, all three of these guys will be over 30. I’m not saying they’ll be old and rotten. LeBron and Bosh have had healthy careers. Of course, 12 years in the league a long time for any body and those years can take their toll.

James probably had his best season of his career last season. His decline won’t be sharp but I don’t think he’s going to perform better than that. I mean…come on. He’s only human, I think.

The biggest question remains Wade and those knees. Knee problems continue to end athlete’s careers all around. We need them. Wade especially relies on his knees for his explosions to the rim or at least past players. I don’t know, I think in a couple of years he’s gonna look really slow.

So, in the next two seasons, can the Heat grab two more trophies? For this upcoming season, I actually don’t think so. I think there’s a lot of talent out there that can take this team. When they first came together, they did strike some fear into other teams. But now, with two in a row under their belt, teams will be looking to stop them. If you can beat the Heat, you could beat anybody.

We’ll see. I think after next season, they’re gonna have to make some changes. Again, I’m talking about this trio as a whole. LeBron himself could team up with another group of guys at 30 and win more rings.

You agree with me? Let me know what you think!
