New England Patriots fans have finally received the good news that they have been waiting for. After the news that star tight end Rob Gronkowski would be placed on the active roster rather than being placed on the physically-unable to perform list, it was a clear sign that he would be ready within the first month of the season and now it looks like he will be back in a few weeks.

According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Gronkowski returned to practice in full uniform on Sunday afternoon.

It is unlikely that Gronkowski will be ready for the team’s season-opener against the Buffalo Bills, but it is looking more and more likely that he will be able to return by week three which is all the Patriots can ask for.

Late-September has been the target for Gronkowski’s return and he remains on track for a speedy return.

For fantasy football owners, this means you can be comfortable taking Gronkowski in the first few rounds of your draft and expect great production from him this season.
