The Cincinnati Bengals had placed pass rushing specialist Dontay Moch on the trading block prior to the final cuts on Saturday as they set their 53-man roster, but after no trade partners emerged the team decided it would be best to grant the former Nevada stand out his release.

While no one was interested in trading for Moch, it didn’t take long for a team to step up and sign once he hit the open market.

The Arizona Cardinals were the team that landed Moch and they have decided to play him on their practice squad. Also on the Cardinals practice squad are LB Kenny Rowe, S Curtis Taylor, WR Kerry Taylor, C/G Philip Blake.

Moch is certainly the most notable name of the bunch and he could eventually blossom in to a player that is called up to the active roster.

Until then, he will use his time on the scout team to help the Cardinals offense prepare for upcoming opponents while he fine tunes his skill set in hopes of becoming a more well-rounded player.
