It was reported earlier today that Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey was able to return to practice today, but in a limited capacity.

As it turns out, he was unable to even do that much, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Bailey missed Monday’s practice, but he provided an update on the condition of his sprained foot, which has kept him out of action for the last two weeks.

His status remains very much in question for Thursday’s game.

"“It’s my feet, so I have to make sure I’m making a smart decision,” Bailey told USA TODAY Sports. “It just depends on how it feels. There is a fine line there – you don’t want to risk it getting worse, but I definitely don’t want to miss any games either.”"

While getting him back for Thursday night’s opener, if the team is unsure about potentially hurting him further and losing him for any significant amount of time, they might give him some extra time to rest.
