The Buffalo Bills seem to have avoided having to start undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel at quarterback for now. Head coach Doug Marrone says first round draft pick E.J. Manuel is 110% and has no limitations.
K Hopkins out for Sunday, sez Marrone. Byrd was limited today. Legursky Gilmore no practice. EJ has no limitations - 110 pct, Marrone sez.

Buffalo News’ Mark Gaughan said that Manuel was throwing the ball fine in practice earlier and wasn’t showing any signs that he was favoring his knee in the first 20 minutes of practice.

The Bills had already announced that E.J. Manuel would start the season Wednesday morning. Marrone had said he needed to return to practice before Wednesday to play in the season opener. Manuel practiced three straight days from Sunday to Tuesday and again today.
It will most likely be a conservative game plan for the Bills this week and short passes for Manuel.
