New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is practicing in full pads again today. That is good news for the New England Patriots which have a new and largely unproven group of receiving targets for quarterback Tom Brady. From the Boston Herald:

"Gronkowski participated in positional drills during the media portion of practice, which ended before 11-on-11 work. Gronkowski took some early reps in that phase Monday. Today, the blocking reps were barely half speed, for Gronkowski and the other tight ends, but they picked up the pace during pass-catching drills. The Pats also practiced in full pads Sunday, and teams are permitted to practice twice in pads for one week during the regular season."

Gronkowki likely won’t play in the season opener or the second week of the season. He hasn’t been ruled out of the week 2 match up against the New York Jets, its just much more likely that he plays in week 3 or 4 of the season. Either way it’s good news for fantasy owners.
