Maybe ESPN and SportsCenter are feeling the heat from Fox Sports 1 and their SportsCenter rip off. ESPN ran a segment this morning mirroring player intros at NFL games, and Adam Schefter was going to come out and perform Ray Lewis’s famous pre-game dance routine.

Apparently Schefter couldn’t put down his smartphone long enough or get away from Twitter to stumble over to YouTube and watch a video to see how to do this. Instead it looks like Schefter went with the ‘ole I’ll just wing it approach. The basics are there the side to side the chest rip but he does some weird double fisted move for a while that is just awful to watch.

He gets that Ray Lewis shakes his hand, but instead of shaking his hand like Lewis he does some weird, shake weight, roll the dice kind of gesture.

He definitely defines why white guys can’t dance when he tries to do the slide back and forth that Lewis does, instead it looks a lot more like Schefter just stepping to the side to get out of the way of oncoming traffic.

This is the best part… what is he doing!?!?!
