With the 2013-14 NFL season kicking off, everyone is wondering how the season-opener between the defending champion Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos will play out. Luckily for everyone, we have Madden NFL 25 to provide a simulation and tell us how things will play out.

According to our Madden NFL 25 sim, the Denver Broncos will come out on top in Thursday night’s game by a score of 33-27, despite a late run from the Ravens.

Unfortunately for the Ravens, it is turnovers that were the difference.

Flacco threw for an impressive 323 yards and three touchdowns in the simulation, but two of his passes were picked off with one being returned for a touchdown that was all of the difference. Peyton Manning had a great showing of his own with 302 passing yards and one touchdown to Wes Welker.

The top receivers in the game were Torrey Smith for the Ravens with nine catches for 131 yards, while Demaryius Thomas led the Broncos with nine catches for 113 yards.

In the running game, neither team was spectacular.

Montee Ball led all backs with 56 yards and a touchdown, while Ray Rice totaled just 49 yards on the ground with no score.

The game was high scoring and action-packed, which could be exactly what we get when the two teams take the field on Thursday night.
