We were all sitting around waiting for the start of the 2013-14 NFL season with a great match up in the AFC between the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos, but a weather delay ruined all of the excitement that we had.

There was lightning in the area and it caused the NFL to initially delay the game for 15 minutes. After further weather, the kick off for the start of the season was pushed back to 9:10 p.m. ET.

This was eerily reminiscent to the Super Bowl power delay, so the Ravens were experiencing deja vu.

Unfortunately, the big issue in this game could be the wind.

The wind is strong and could really impact the passing attack, which will put more of a focus on the rushing attack for each team. In that case, the Ravens may have the edge.

We are still waiting for the season to start, but buckle up and enjoy the ride because this is going to be one hell of a game — whenever it begins.
