Rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson has been downgraded from questionable to out for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.

Dobson has figured by many to be an important cog in the new look offense for Tom Brady and the Patriots. Dobson has been dealing with an injury to his hamstring and it will be enough to keep him out of the game.

This is good news for fantasy football teams that took some gambles drafting rookie Kenbrell Thompkins and tight end Zach Sudfeld as they should see an increase in looks due to limited options elsewhere.

It has also been reported that Patriot tight end Rob Gronkowski has also been downgraded to officially out for Sunday’s game. He has not fully recovered from his back surgery.

The Patriots have to be grateful that they drew the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets in weeks one and two. It appears that both teams are going to start rookie quarterbacks which should provide some cushion for Brady to get comfortable with his new targets at regular season speed.
