The Kansas City Chiefs were dominant in their Week One match up against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but running back Jamaal Charles continued to scare the team, their fans and fantasy owners with how fragile he can be.

Charles left the game with an injury and did not return, but after the game he had started that he was fine and should be good to go next week.

It is great to know that Charles is not seriously injured and that he still has a great chance at being the leading rusher in the AFC — if Terrelle Pryor slows down — and you can expect to see him standing in the backfield next week when the Kansas City Chiefs play host to the Dallas Cowboys.

Let’s hope that Charles can avoid any injury scares moving forward this season, because he is a brilliant fit in Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s system and there is no doubt that he can be statistically among the best running backs in the league this year.
