An exciting NFC East clash between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys is on the books for Sunday Night Football to cap off a full day of action and the visiting Giants received some great news in advance of their match up at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

There was initially some concern about whether or not starting defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul would be active for the game. but just over an hour from kick-off the Giants received the positive news that Pierre-Paul would dress.

The real question is how effective he will be when he takes the field just three months removed from his back surgery.

Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they will be far from full strength for their game.

It is going to be important for both teams to get off to a hot start and earn the win in Week One, especially when you consider just how tight the race to the NFC East crown looks like it will be this season.

It’s primetime with the Giants and Cowboys, so you will not want to miss this.
