Tragedy struck UCLA when football player Nick Pasquale died in a car accident. Bruins head coach Jim Mora Jr. was talking to the media during a press conference and addressed the incident. He started it off by fondly talking about the player and his impact on teammates and the team.
Then a reporter in the room starts talking loudly on the phone.
“Hey shut up,” Mora Jr. says calmly at first.
Someone tried to beat Mora to it and yelled “stop” in an effort to get the reporter to stop talking on the phone. First of all, what is a reporter doing on the phone? Why isn’t he listentng to Mora talk, isn’t that the whole reason he is there in the first place?
Apparently not.
“The disrespect of some people is unbelievable today,” Mora said. “Just unbelievable today.”
That is about the extent of it until the reporter decides to talk, namely to give Mora permission to “go on.” So… now he is interested in the press conference?
“Don’t tell me to go on!” Mora yells. “I’ll go on when I’m ready to go on. Why don’t you take your butt out of here if you’re going to be disrespectful.”
The reporter apologizes but Mora had enough and leaves.
[UPDATE]: It apparently was not a reporter but a cameraman.
@MySecondEmpire Yeah, I was in the room, near the guy. He was a camera guy/technician, I think from NBC. Was talking loudly on his phone.

@jasonrmcintyre It was definitely a camera person/technician. Guy gestured Mora to "go on" w statement after Mora yelled at him. Ridiculous.

@MySecondEmpire It was absolutely ridiculous. Guy was hiding behind a bush in the corner of the room, trying to talk on a cell phone.
