San Francisco 49ers Jim Harbaugh more or less calls Green Bay Packers’ Clay Matthews a wuss

It seems as if San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh is doing a dandy of pissing people off.

The 49ers head honcho was recently called a bitch by a Seattle sports reporter after Harbaugh went to the league for clarification on hitting a running quarterback.

That apparently didn’t sit well with Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, who seemingly made it his mission to decapitate 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick during Sunday’s game.

That also included a late him from Matthews as Kapernick was out of bounds, something that didn’t sit well with Niners offensive lineman Joe Staley who got into the face of Matthews. Not a big fan of that, Matthews threw a couple open faced slaps towards Staley, which resulted in Harbaugh suggesting Matthews will need an image repair:

Jim Harbaugh said Packers OLB Clay Matthews will be in need of some image repair after his open-handed “slap” of Joe Staley.

In short, Harbaugh was essentially calling out Matthews’ ‘slap’, suggesting he wasn’t man enough to punch him.

Week One isn’t even over and the playoffs can’t get here soon enough.

“GB’s Morgan Burnett was out with a hamstring injury. He is the key signal caller for the secondary. He makes the audibles and is the lead communicator. You could tell there was a lot of miscommunication within the secondary. The deep ball was there all day for Kaepernick, which would have been Burnett’s main responsibility. Casey Hayward was also greatly missed with a hamstring. Hayward won NFL defensive rookie of the year in 2012, registering six interceptions and 21 passes defensed.”

Keep talkin, Coach Harbaugh, keep talkin.

Obi, I guess you didn’t know that Crabtree and Manningham are out…Injuries are part of the game. Those 2 DB’s will be defending them in post season.

I did, so what. Why? Because GBs James Jones caught (14) TD passes last year, but not even one catch on Sunday – going against SFs best DBs. On Sunday, GB had, arguably, their worst possible group of DBs out there. In 2012, Crabtree had (9) TDs and Manningham had (1) TD = (10). So SFs DBs stopped a guy with (14) TDs, but GBs best DBs are supposed to be worried about (2) guys who could only total (10) TDs. ??? Also, by post season, GBs new defense will be operating on all cylinders, likely sacking any QB much more often. In 2012, GBs most recent top (3) picks, all defense, were not playing, or barely started, in post-season, and, they added Jones plus they got (prison-hardened) 340lb Johnny Jolly back now – GB will be a very different bunch this year, especially by post-season – if they get and remain healthy.

SF has an awesome team, Seattle too, I’m just saying don’t read too much into barely beating GB, at home, with their worst group of DBs. Remember, GB has to play against Megatron twice every year – think Crabtree or Manningham scares them after that? Just saying.

First off, no one is awesome till they reach and win SB. Secondly, please don’t try and compare the Lions to the Packers. That just shows what a homer you are. All you have to do is double and triple him, because the rest of the team is pathetic. Maybe not this year, however. I thought perhaps you would have some thought provoking ideas, but you don’t. I don’t wish to try and compare other teams. If I did, I would bring both 2 teams last week, and it would be a waste of time comparing GB to the Panthers.
If you ever get to a point of being objective, maybe we can chat again. Best of luck to both you and the Seahawks… Jimbo

I wonder if you need to be awesome in order to get to the SB, or if you are only awesome afterwards? Detroit lost lots of games, by very little, as much do to with penalties as anything else. Their DBs were average or worse, tough to win like that these daze, cuz, its a passing game now more than ever, ya think? The threat of Bush running will take ‘coverage’ off Megatron – scary.

“DETROIT — The Minnesota defense couldn’t get off the field. An eight-play drive here, a 10-play drive there. When it was all said and done, the Detroit Lions had the ball almost 13 minutes longer than the Vikings did.

Veteran defensive end Jared Allen knew what the difference was — it was Reggie Bush and Matthew Stafford. Something had changed with this Lions offense and it spelled disaster for Allen and his Vikings, who lost to the Lions on Sunday 34-24.”

Hearing Harbaugh telling anyone to man up is funny.
I can still recall the whinniest b*tch on the Bears sidelines was Harbaugh. He’d complain about Pass interference in warm ups! What an Jag.
