
The Seattle Seahawks are hoping that Cliff Avril will be healthy and available for their week 2 match up against the San Francisco 49ers. Avril has been nursing a hamstring injury and missed week one.

“As of this morning he’s feeling better and we’re hoping he will be able to go next week, but we won’t know until we get there, though,” head coach Pete Carroll said a couple of Wednesdays ago.
The Seahawks are hoping Avril will return and defensive end Chris Clemons will get a change to practice this week as well.

The game is scheduled for Sunday night, and will be a crucial match up. Aside from being the home opener they are playing the reigning NFC Champions in their first divisional game of the year.
