Many Oklahoma State players have responded on Twitter to the allegations in Sports Illustrated’s story about violations within the program. The five part story is being released in series starting with today’s “money” section. This alleges that players were basically being paid in a variety of ways, for plays, for performances, for sham jobs, you name it.
Earlier today Dallas Cowboys wide receiver and former Oklahoma State Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant tweeted that if he wasn’t getting paid while playing there, no one was. He quickly deleted the tweet, but it was captured by the internet mavens. Knowing he was in the mood to discuss it though led to someone asking about other parts of the allegations.
One of the allegations, according to the Dallas Morning News, is that “some members of a hostess program used by the football coaching staff had sex with recruits.”
Knowing Dez was in the mood to talk about the subject, a fan asked Dez Bryant on Twitter if he got any of those perks when being recruited or playing. Dez responded that he was in a relationship and his girl wasn’t going to tolerate any infidelity on his part.
