Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told ESPN.com that running back Isaac Redman will start against the Cincinnatl Bengals on Monday night.

Redman and the Pittsburgh Steelers struggled in their opening game against the Tennessee Titans. Redman fumbled twice and rushed for only eight yards on nine carries before he was benched.

"“Obviously he played a bad game. He’ll be given an opportunity to redeem himself.” Tomlin told ESPN.com in an interview."

The Steelers re-signed running back Jonathan Dwyer after placing LaRod Stephens-Howling on the injured reserve with a knee injury. When asked if Dwyer will play a role in Monday nights game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tomlin replied with:

"“That depends on his dependability. We’ll play it by ear and see how he looks on the practice field and in the classroom.” Tomlin on Jonathan Dwyer."

Dwyer was cut before the regular season along with the rest of those who didn’t make the 53 man roster but now has a second shot to pull himself together and take the starting job from Redman.
