Daryl Richardson gets day off from St. Louis Rams coaching staff
By Josh Sanchez
St. Louis Rams starting running back Daryl Richardson fell just short of 100 yards in the team’s season-opener against the division rival Arizona Cardinals, and head coach Jeff Fisher is rewarding him for his performance by giving him the day off at Wednesday’s practice.
Don’t be concerned though, Rams fans. Richardson will be back on the field for tomorrow’s practice and he will be a full go for the team’s game in Week Two on Sunday.
From Nick Wagoner of ESPN’s NFL Nation:
Despite the time off in practice, Richardson will still be the Rams workhorse back in Week Two when they take on the Atlanta Falcons.
The hope is to keep Richardson fresh and ensure that he is fully healthy and ready to go as St. Louis takes on a very tough challenge. Make sure that he is in your fantasy football line ups.
