Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley sat out of practice today. Finley’s injury isn’t necessarily known. He wasn’t on last week’s injury report and didn’t seem to get injured or hurt in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

TE Jermichael Finley joins Sitton on the injury list. Both are out here walking around so perhaps it's not serious.

That could mean the Packers are just giving him a day of extra rest.
In the season opener Finley caught 5 passes for 56 yards and one touchdown pass. The touchdown pass was considered by many fans watching the game as redemption for an interception earlier in the game. A pass hit Finley in the hands and was intercepted.
New York Jets tight end Kellen Winslow said he was going to get one day of rest a week during the season and that day would be on Wednesday. Could be a similar deal for Finley, who is in a contract year.
