The Indianapolis Colts have a dynamic weapon at wide receiver in T.Y. Hilton, but the team seemed willing to give former first-round pick Darrius Heyward-Bey every opportunity to step up in the season-opener against his former team, the Oakland Raiders.

Heyward-Bey was less than stellar in the game, which looks like it will result in a bigger role for Hilton moving forward.

From George Bremer of the Herald Bulletin:

Hilton is a speedy receiver that can take any play to the house, so look for the Colts to get him more involved when they take on the Miami Dolphins in Week Two.

Not only will Hilton see more snaps in two wide receiver sets, but he could have special plays designed for him as the Colts look to take advantage of his elite athleticism.

With Hilton getting more touches, the Colts offense could be much more versatile and the passing attack could take on a whole new life.
