Pittsburgh Steelers would like to have running back Le’veon Bell back and healthy. He was projected to be the started running back but has been held out with a midfoot sprain and has been projected to miss at least another month.

It was reported earlier that week that he hasn’t even participated in individual drills.
@ross_doherty24 Since he hasn’t even begun to practice yet, even individual drills, I assume he’s out. My guess is he’s back after the bye

That time line goes in contrast to comments Bell made earlier this month before the season opener. The time line that Bob Labriola gives would schedule a return in week 6, or October 13th and seem to confirm reports that he could be out for another month.
Bell had tried to remain optimistic about playing in their week two match up against the Cincinnati Bengals but that doesn’t appear likely to happen now.
Le’Veon Bell: I’m goinng to try to be back for week 2 but I’m not making promises.
