Washington Redskins fan eats his own beard after losing bet (Video)

Fan is short for fanatic, so it is no surprise when someone does something outrageous in support of their team. It is also no surprise when someone has so much confidence in their favorite team that they place a friendly wager they never expect to have to live up to.

Unfortunately for one fan of the Washington Redskins, losing a bet meant that he needed to eat his own beard.

That’s right. One man, who has a beard that would make Brett Kiesel jealous, bet his friend that the Redskins would take down the Philadelphia Eagles in the season-opener. The game didn’t go as planned thanks to a slow start by Robert Griffin III and the man then needed to live up to his promise.

He did just that. Even better is the fact that he made a video so we all could witness.

The man chopped off some of the bottom of his beard and tossed it in his mouth for a little snack. There’s a good chance that leftovers from a few days ago were still in the beard and his face let it be known that it surely wasn’t appetizing.
