A Cleveland area Chick-fil-A took some shots at the Cleveland Browns on their signage in front of their store. The manager or franchise owner spelled out “like the Browns, we take Sundays off.” The Browns have been pretty dismal since their return to the NFL. They also lost their season opener against the Miami Dolphins which has them 0-1 and Browns fans are already growing more pessimistic about the season.

From Hold Out Sports:

"No word yet if this restaurant was located near Pittsburgh, or whether this sign represents the views of the entire Chick-fil-A chain.UPDATE: Thanks to some readers who brought to our attention that this Chick-fil-A location appears to be the one on Dressler Road in North Canton, Ohio. This seems to match our research, which shows Ruby Tuesday’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s and Target nearby, as they appear in background signs."

It’s pretty clever and funny. I wonder if that helps business or if Browns fans turn it down. Nevertheless avoiding a 0-2 start seems to be an even harder task as they travel to Baltimore to take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. Nevertheless they shouldn’t give up on the season yet.

There is also the distinct possibility that the photo of the sign is old and not recent.

It’s always Sundays when you crave Chick-fil-A too.
