Derrick Rose will play in a public game in the Philippines this weekend

Chicago Bulls fans are just itching to see this man back on the court and actually playing instead of warming up before games.

Derrick Rose, one of the greatest point guards Chicago has ever seen will have all eyes on him by not only Bulls fans, but basketball fans across the globe. His return to the regular season basketball action is slowly approaching as tip off is a little over a month away.

Rose is in the Philippines this weekend and he’s expected to play in public for the first time since his knee injury a couple seasons ago. According to the International Business Times, he’s taking part in a tour that is being held by the popular brand,  ‘Adidas’.

I thought last season it was a great idea that he took the entire year off. I know Bulls fans were frustrated as their team made the Playoffs, but if there’s no need to rush the face of your franchise to play then everything will be alright. Who knows where he would have been if he came back early. At least we know Rose will be 150% instead of a possible 80%-90% depending on if he tweaked his injury or not.

But will D-Rose be the same player he was before he was injured? We’ll just have to wait and see.
