Early in the week, there wasn’t much concern that Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald would miss any action with his hamstring injury.

But after Fitzgerald missed practice late in the week, that concern grew and up until this morning, the Pro Bowl receiver was deemed a ‘game time decision’.

Thankfully for the Cardinals and for fantasy players alike, Fitz is starting today, though, isn’t going to be at full strength as Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer says Fitzgerald will only be playing at about ’80 percent’ today.

Of course, even a less than healthy Fitzgerald is more effective than the vast majority of replacements who are completely healthy.

There is some concern that the hamstring could cause Fitzgerald some issue during the game, so it’s possible he may be taken off the field more frequently as a precautionary measure.

It’s a bit of a risk to put him out there considering how nagging hamstring injuries can become, but apparently the Cardinals medical staff isn’t too concerned.

My inner-fantasy owner will try not to be either.
