Who says chivalry is dead? Chicago Bears cornerback Charles “Peanut” Tillman proved that he is quite the gentleman as he saved FOX Sports sideline reporter Laura Okmin from getting run over by a moving sideline camera during the game.

While the Bears are easily taking care of the Minnesota Vikings, Tillman decided to take some time out to play hero.

After Tillman saved the day, he got to lock eyes with Okmin and enjoy a sweet embrace. How cute. Maybe he will take her out for dinner later.

This is just the latest incident with sideline reporters this season. Luckily for Okmin, she had Tillman there to save her or else she could have gone down harder than Pam Oliver when she took a football to the head.

Watching and reporting about the games from the sidelines has it’s perks, but it is definitely a dangerous place to be.

Be safe out there, folks.

So now it’s even necessary to sensationalize a side-line ‘nothing’?! She was not even close to being in any kind of danger there! Clearly the camera operator was cognizant of the maneuver and gave a little smile when she observed the over-reaction. Which is just what this “story” is.

Like a coach who doesn’t know how to watch film either, your editor should be fired.
The guy in the red jacket walking in front of the camera dolly “saved” the damsel- He pushed her towards/into tillman.
He was doing his job, start doing yours and actually write about something that matters in this world or I will have to ask Seton Hall to refund the money you paid for that parchment.
