The Ravens sacked Browns’ QB Brandon Weeden five times. He didn’t finish the game. He couldn’t. Ended up injuring his thumb. The defending champs won this game by defense after a slow start.

At halftime, the Browns were up 6-0. In the second half, the Ravens got a couple of scores but they really shut down the Browns’ offense. Yes, the Browns only went 85 yards in the second half. Ouch. ABC, can ya help me out?

"Down 6-0 at halftime, Baltimore took the lead on a 5-yard run by Bernard Pierce with 5:13 left in the third quarter. Baltimore added a touchdown with 8:57 remaining on a 5-yard pass from Joe Flacco to rookie Marlon Brown. It all added up to the Ravens’ 11th straight win over Cleveland, a streak that began when John Harbaugh took over as Baltimore’s coach before the 2008 season. It’s the longest active streak for one team against another."

Man, oh man. Browns can’t catch a break. A special note that FanSided already talked about: Joe Flacco’s wife gave birth to their son early this morning. So, is that dad’s gift to the kid? Another note: This was Baltimore’s first home game as Super Bowl champs and so there was a cute ceremony before the game. Just a nice day for the Ravens and their fans.
