There was some concern about wide receiver Danny Amendola’s ability to stay healthy, but that didn’t stop the New England Patriots from signing him during the offseason. Unfortunately, the injury bug has bitten Amendola once again and he could be forced to miss four to six weeks as the team evaluates his injury.

Ben Volin of the Boston Globe passed along the news from Jay Glazer:

This is obviously not a good injury and Amendola will likely miss closer to six weeks than the four, which leaves the team’s already weak receiving core even worse than before.

Tom Brady has been getting frustrated with his young wide receivers, so he will need to work harder than ever before if he wants to build chemistry with the receivers that are going to be on the receiving end of his throws.
